I've long been told that this book is one of the must-reads for developers. You may or may not have heard the term Refactoring before, but it is a term that sometimes seems to be used loosely in software development, when someone wants to do something to the code. I started with the “Clean Code” book by Robert Martin since I was on a limited budget. Martin Fowler's discussion book and catalogue of common refactorings is a hugely interesting read.
